Welcome to Mind Menders

Nathan2Welcome to Mind Menders where we have been helping young people and their families achieve success in health for over 20 years. In the past 2 years we have begun to work specifically with the Mind thereby effecting educational as well as life success.

We help remove obstacles to life and learning using a method known as Crossinologyå¨ Brain Integration Technique (BIT) which uses neuropressure to access and assess the brain’s ability to process input and stimuli. With this information we are able to reconnect poorly functioning “wiring” and repair the gaps allowing the individual to comprehend and achieve greater academic, emotional and life success. By removing the obstacles that hindered learning, stress and its results can be removed as well.

We believe all children should have the opportunity to learn, communicate and compete with the same exuberance with which they play, creating a world in which they can WIN!

Have you ever watched two children that should have the same advantages but experience vastly different outcomes? Significant impact events in life such as birth trauma, premature birth, head injuries, neglect, abuse, or emotional loss can disrupt the natural neural pathways essentially blowing a circuit like a breaker in your electrical box. These blown circuits disrupt the most direct neural pathways of the brain causing learning difficulties, ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Sensory Processing Disorders, Autism, OCD behavior, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, and Adoptive Stress Syndrome.

Most treatments involve medication, giving on-going exercises to do indefinitely, purely removing emotional stress, or changing the format of how material is presented to the student. The work we do actually changes the functioning of the brain.
